I have over 15 years’ expertise in the Social Care sector working in hospital and domiciliary settings prior to live-in. I joined Noble Live-In Care in May 2021 as a Locality Care Manager and progressed to the role of Registered Branch Manager in April 2023.

In my current role, I oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring that service users receive exceptional, person-centred support in line with CQC standards. I am a firm advocate for the transformative impact of live-in care, believing that consistent one-to-one assistance and companionship empower individuals to regain confidence, embrace independence, and accomplish goals they once thought unattainable.

I am very sociable and like to spend spare time with family & friends. I dislike being unorganised, and mess!

Funny fact: I love wind turbines, I don’t know why or how to obsession started, but they fascinate me, and I get very excited when I see them! I even had a wind turbine birthday cake one year!

I've always been interested in working in health care. In school I spent 2 weeks whilst on my work experience working in a care home, assisting the chef in the kitchen. I used to serve the residents their lunches and sit and eat mine with them. I enjoyed getting to know them and listening to them talk about their past- they were incredible people!

I started working in domiciliary care during my A-Levels and now have extensive experience in nursing and residential homes, hospitals, operating theatres and live-in care. I’ve learned a kind heart goes a long way and a smile can say a thousand things. I love meeting my clients and helping them design support plans that transform their quality of life. I started with Noble in 2020. I have worked in a Managerial role for 8+ years and would not change it for the world. I had a baby in December 2021 and came back to work in July 2022 and was excited to get my feet stuck back in. It felt like I had never left!

For me, it's seeing people in the comfort of their own home, enjoying their surroundings. We all love to be at home in a place where we find comfort. I especially love visiting clients in their own homes where they have lived for many years. I love to sit and hear their stories- sometimes it gives me goosebumps! So much history is held in peoples’ homes, and I aim to help them stay where they are happiest. Those with pets get to stay at home with them. Being a mum to a Red Fox Labrador myself, I know just how important it is to have him around.

I am passionate about making sure clients are safe, happy and well cared for. I love to help them enjoy an active life. Live-in care gives you the freedom to choose how you would like to spend your time, and that’s so important. I enjoy the challenge of finding ways to help my clients overcome obstacles. I remember when I first started my role as a Locality Manager, and a client wanted to have a break away at the seaside. They didn’t think it was possible. However, with the help of Noble Live-in Care and myself, we managed to make this dream come true. I even got a lovely postcard and photos!

I’m usually the first point of contact for people reaching out to Noble about our services. I take the time to listen and understand each client’s individual needs, offering guidance and reassurance at the very start of their care journey. I also like to provide ongoing support, including advice around funding options, to help families feel informed and confident in their choices.

I’ve worked in care since 2015, across both visiting home care and live-in care services.

Having personally cared for members of my own family during illness and through bereavement, I truly understand the emotional challenges families face and the importance of compassionate support. For me, the greatest reward comes from delivering person-centred care, recognising that everyone is unique, with their own goals and stories to share. After all, age is just a number!

Caring has always been at the heart of who I am. I began my journey in care at just 18, inspired by my experience of looking after my mum, who was diagnosed with M.S. throughout my teenage years. She sadly passed away when I was 22, but it was through caring for her that I discovered my true purpose — supporting others with compassion, dignity, and respect.

Since then, I’ve built my career from the ground up, working as a Support Worker, Care Coordinator, Registered Branch Manager, and now as a Locality Care Manager for Noble Live-in Care. Every step of the way, I’ve stayed committed to making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Outside of work, I’m a proud cat lover, a passionate photographer, and I love spending time at the zoo — especially when there are big cats involved! These moments remind me to slow down, appreciate life, and find joy in the little things.

From a young age, I was inspired by my incredible mum, whose dedication to care work ignited my own passion for helping others. I began my journey in care as a cleaner in a care home she worked in, gradually progressing to a carer, and eventually becoming a locality manager. With a strong belief in person-centred care, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals to remain in their homes and live fulfilling lives on their own terms. Every day, I’m driven by the goal of improving individuals lives, empowering clients, and ensuring dignity, choice, and happiness are at the heart of everything I do.

I have worked in the care sector since the age of 19, initially supporting older people in a residential care home while raising my son. My son has both a learning disability and a physical disability, and through the challenges and discrimination he faced throughout his childhood, I developed a deep understanding of the barriers that individuals and families can encounter when accessing support.

Motivated by these experiences, I transitioned into adult care services and progressed to the role of Care Manager, gaining the skills, knowledge, and leadership experience needed to advocate effectively for others and ensure high-quality, person-centred care.

I am deeply passionate about empowering people to make informed choices and to shape their lives in the way they wish to live them. My personal journey continues to drive my commitment to promoting inclusion, dignity, and respect for everyone I support.

Outside of work I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, son and our friends, as well as exploring the forest on long walks with our dog Ted Baker.
