What is reablement care?
Reablement is an approach that, irrespective of diagnosis, aims to assist people to continue to live as they wish. It seeks to enable the individual to do ordinary activities like cooking meals, washing, dressing, moving about the home and going out.
If you’re recovering from an illness, injury or operation you may need extra support readjusting to life at home, usually lasting around 6 weeks. Noble Live-in Care’s reablement service will help you regain your independence and restore your confidence.
Our team will work with you and your healthcare team to help you achieve your goals. We’ll support you with physiotherapy exercises and to help you learn to use appropriate assistive equipment confidently. Your Live-in Care Worker will be armed with efficient strategies to help you adapt to new ways of carrying new ways of doing things and overcome any nervousness.
With our help and encouragement, you’ll quickly build on your strengths and get back to living your life. Many people manage well without ongoing care following reablement; however, if you do need longer term support, Noble Live-in care can help.
