One of our live-in care workers at Noble Live-in Care has recently been nominated as a finalist for the Home Care Worker Award for the Great British Care Awards 2023.
Deborah Rogers was runner up, highly commended, for the Great British Care Awards, Home Care Worker Award.
“Deb was nominated for this award for her outstanding care for her client. Deb is always willing to help and go the extra mile to support the gentleman she looked after. She took him out and about to all different places including shopping, local cafes and his favorite place, the pub for lunch or dinner. Deb is kind, patient and bubbly. She is an asset to the care industry”, Nadine Bowman, Registered Branch Manager, Noble Live-in Care.
The benefit of live-in care is the flexibility it offers to allow you to continue to live your life as you wish. There are no restrictions that you get in a care home such as going out, restricted meal times and a lack of options to socialise with different generations. In a care home, the options to socialise are limited to the people who also live in the care home.
Our client enjoyed going to the pub for his lunch or dinner with his care worker, Deborah. You can continue to lead your life as normal as possible, whether that is doing your own shopping with the help of your carer, going to the gym, meeting friends, going for a coffee or out for lunch or going to your favourite events like the Christmas markets.
The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards are to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
